With over 35 years of experience in the home technology industry, Jason Turunen and James May bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. Together, they co-founded TheaterX in 2006 and later launched ShadeX in 2023, expanding their commitment to delivering exceptional smart home and shading solutions.

Specializing in all aspects of home automation, Jason and James are passionate about creating seamless, user-friendly systems that enhance comfort, convenience, and everyday living. Their hands-on approach, industry experience, and dedication to customer satisfaction have earned them a reputation for quality, innovation, and trusted service.

Al Levine 

Project Manager

Al keeps our day-to-day operations and projects running smoothly from start to finish. He works closely with customers to understand their needs and coordinates with our sales, production, installation, and service teams to make sure every project comes together seamlessly.

With a hands-on approach and a focus on clear communication, Al is committed to delivering a great customer experience and ensuring every project is completed to the high standards our clients expect. His problem solving skills and attention to detail help keep everything on track and running efficiently.

Kaylin Kirby

Sales & Window Treatment Designer

Kaylin Kirby is our in-house Window Treatment Designer and Sales Specialist. She helps clients select fabrics, colors, and styles that enhance the beauty and functionality of their spaces.

As your dedicated project manager, Kaylin guides each project from consultation to completion, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience every step of the way.

Originally from Utah, she brings experience in window treatments, audio, and video systems, giving her a well-rounded approach to home design and technology.
